Yes It's Back "Dinner in the Dark" 2010
We are excited to offer the Dinner in the Dark again to the Wenatchee Valley and surrounding area residents. We approached the Highlander Golf Club manager to make a request if they would host our dnner. Their response was a unanimous "Yes" so we have entered into a wonderful partnership with them to have our Dinner in the Dark at their Club at 2920 8th St. SE. E. Wenatchee Washington.
Their Golf club is set on the rolling side hills of E. Wenatchee with a beautiful view of the Wenatchee Valley. It has an open friendly environment and lots of great staff members that we are looking forward to getting involved with.
In addition to offering us a fantastic setting for our dinner they are also providing us with the use of there putting range to give our dinner guest a fun new challenge. Blind putting... sounds a little difficult doesn't it, but lots of fun. We are doing a 50/50 challenge. For a donation of $5.00 you can test your skills and win cash. It should be a fun thing to watch and participate in.
The tickets this year are $35.00 each. For this minimal amount you will receive a four course dinner which will include H'durevs, salad, dinner and desert. We cannot give you the exact items on the menu because that would ruin the surprise.. but we promise you it will an excellent dinner.
During your blindfolded dinning experience you will be entertained by our MC Beull Hawkins and guest speaker Ken Anderson. They will aid you in your dinning experience and guide you through some of the techniques used by the blind and visually impaired.
At 8:00 the blindfolds come off and we will have live auctions. We have gathered some great items to entise you to bid. John Bryant our volunteer auctioneer will use his talents to create an exciting auction.
You can purchase tickets through our paypal account please add a note if you would like us to hold them at the door for you with your name and the number of tickets purchased or if you would include your name and address we will mail them to you.
We are hoping to raise lots of funds to continue or work to purchase visual aids for the blind and visually impaired.
