Soy Candles
Samara's Foundation has a new fundraising project. We are making and selling our own soy candles. We use soy wax because it burns clean and is smoke less. We hand pour each candle, we then choose the colors and scents. We create candles for all seasons. We selected a 6 oz. hexagon jar because of it's unique shape. We sell them for $6.00 ea. Their are some local fruit stands that sell our candles during their open seasons.This has been a wonderful profitable project for us.
The KPQ home show invited us to join them in 2009 and we sold over 600 candles. We also have a booth at the Farmers Market through out the summer.

Quilt Raffle
Every year we have a quilt raffle Jodi Duncan makes these quilts from beautiful quality fabrics. She selects a different design that requires her special skills and technic. We have the drawing for the quilt at our Christmas party in December. We also at this time disclose the next years quilt and start selling tickets on the spot.
